Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of the Mobimatch app. By using Mobimatch, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

Mobimatch is not affiliated with Cloud Imperium Games (publisher of Star Citizen) or Discord Inc. Star Citizen and Discord are trademarks of their respective owners.

1. Definitions

• Mobimatch: the matchmaking app for Star Citizen players described below.
• Beacon: a listing you post to find teammates (type, activity or situation, optional reward, number of seats, language).
• Room: a private Discord voice room created automatically for your crew.
• User, you: any person who uses Mobimatch through a Discord account.

2. Purpose of the service

Mobimatch lets you post beacons and respond to them in order to form crews to play Star Citizen together, and to meet in a Discord voice room created for the occasion. Mobimatch is a matchmaking tool: it does not provide the Star Citizen game and does not itself organize in-game activities.

3. Access to the service

• Access requires a valid Discord account. Sign-in is done through Discord (OAuth).
• Mobimatch is not intended for people under 13 (or the minimum age required by Discord in your country).
• When you sign in, you join the Discord server of the Streamer Forge community, in a private space reserved for matchmaking. You can leave this server at any time from Discord.
• The service is provided free of charge.

4. Rules of use

By using Mobimatch, you agree to:

• comply with Discord's rules and those of the Streamer Forge community;
• not post unlawful, hateful, harassing, misleading content or content that infringes the rights of others;
• not impersonate a third party, nor disrupt the service (spam, abusive automation, attempts to bypass security);
• behave properly toward other players in beacons and rooms.

5. Content, reporting and moderation

You are responsible for the content of the beacons you post. You keep ownership of that content and grant us the technical permission to display and distribute it as part of the service.

Mobimatch enforces a zero-tolerance policy toward objectionable content (unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, misleading, or infringing the rights of others). You have several ways to act:

• Report a beacon directly in the app ("Report" button), or by email at contact@eqwitymind.com;
• Block a user from the app so you no longer see their beacons.

We review reports and commit to removing objectionable content, and where appropriate ejecting the offending users, within 24 hours.

6. No monetary transaction

Mobimatch does not process any payment and does not handle any real-money transaction. Rewards mentioned in a beacon (for example in aUEC, the virtual in-game currency of Star Citizen) are arrangements between players, in the game, made outside Mobimatch and under the sole responsibility of the players involved. Mobimatch does not guarantee, intermediate or secure any of these rewards.

7. Availability and changes

The service is provided as is, without guarantee of continuous availability. Beacons and rooms are temporary and cleaned up automatically. We may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the service, notably for maintenance, security or technical reasons.

8. Intellectual property

Mobimatch, its name, interface and code are the property of the publisher. Star Citizen and its content belong to Cloud Imperium Games; Discord belongs to Discord Inc. Mobimatch is not affiliated with either and claims no rights over their trademarks.

9. Liability

Mobimatch is limited to matchmaking. What happens next between players (in voice, in game, or outside the app) is the players' responsibility. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damages, for the behavior of other users, or for any unavailability of the service or of Discord.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Mobimatch at any time and delete your account and all your listings from the app ("My account" screen). We may suspend or terminate the access of a user who breaches these Terms or Discord's rules.

11. Personal data

The processing of your data is described in our privacy policy, which is GDPR-compliant.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, the competent courts are those designated by the applicable rules of law.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date at the top of the page indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
